I want a domain name that’s expiring in the next few days but I don’t want to pay ridiculous backorder fees. The domain was free until a little more than a year ago and a student from China used it as a portfolio for about 6 months and then it was left empty until it expired. Now that the old owner doesn’t seem like a threat what kind of domains do people mass register just to resell? The one I want has no nouns in it and has a hyphen. It also doesn’t resemble any known abbreviations so what do you think the chances are it won’t get snatched up? Also, about what time on the deleted day are domains released?
